FC 27 Ultimate Scream on October 23? FUT Sheriff claims release date
Ultimate Scream could return to EA SPORTS FC 27 on Friday, October 23, 2026. FUT Sheriff has named that date, but EA had not officially announced the promotion or its squad at the time of publication. Here is what the leak says — and what remains unconfirmed.
When could Ultimate Scream start in FC 27?
FUT Sheriff's post says the event is scheduled for “next Friday”. Published on October 15, that points to October 23, 2026 — a familiar Friday release window for a major Ultimate Team promotion. It is currently the clearest available claim about the start date.
It is not an EA announcement. EA has not published an FC 27 event page, full reveal or official squad list. October 23 should therefore be treated as a credible leak rather than a confirmed release date. We will update this article when EA publishes a schedule or the first official promotion details.
Which cards could feature in Ultimate Scream?
The artwork attached to FUT Sheriff's post shows an 89-rated Luis Suárez card. That is a notable hint, but a leaker's visual is not an official in-game screen or an EA-confirmed squad list. We are therefore not treating Suárez as a confirmed FC 27 item, and we will not publish invented players or stats.
If Ultimate Scream retains the identity of last year's event, players can expect a Halloween presentation and special items designed to change squad-building choices. We do not yet know whether FC 27 will reuse full-moon upgrades, unusual positions or introduce an entirely new mechanic. Each of those details still needs confirmation from EA.
How did Ultimate Scream work in FC 26?
The official FC 26 edition began on October 24, 2025 and ran through the Halloween period. Special items received two permanent upgrades tied to later full moons: first Role+ additions, then Role++ across every position and alternate position. During selected weeks they also received a temporary boost to 99 in one random Face Stat.
The promotion extended beyond pack items. EA released themed SBCs, Objectives, Live Events, Evolutions, cosmetic upgrades and tournament content. That history shows how broad an FC 27 event could become, but it does not mean last year's mechanics will return unchanged.
Could Ultimate Scream affect player prices?
A major promotion can increase interest in packs, SBCs and new squad ideas, which may make the Transfer Market more volatile. Some players sell parts of their club before a launch and then look for cards that fit new challenges. The direction and size of any price movement will still depend on the actual squad, SBC requirements, supply and the wider community's behaviour.
There is no sound basis for promising a specific rise or fall. A more cautious approach is to avoid purchases driven only by a leak, review the official requirements after launch and keep a coin reserve for unexpected SBCs. One promotional image is not enough for a reliable market forecast.
