How to find EA backup codes
Backup codes confirm a login when an authenticator, SMS or email code is unavailable. Every backup code can be used once.
Where to find backup codes
Open EA Account settings and sign in.
Go to Security and login verification.
Open the backup codes option.
View or generate a fresh set.
Submit two unused codes in the GXDeal checkout.
Why a code may fail
The usual reason is that the code was already used. It may also belong to another EA account or contain an extra copied character. Generate a new set before ordering and do not use those codes for your own login while delivery is active.
After delivery
Once the order is complete, you can change the EA password and generate another backup-code set. This closes access based on the details used for delivery.
